8th Week Update

BL Crew: The dry wall guys finished mudding and taping, and Bob's crew finished putting up the material on the walls of the sleeping porch, finished the deck benches and railings.

Family Crew: We were able to do all the prep work for interior painting by covering and taping off all the windows and got a good start on the priming; we had folks staining trim/ceiling boards, painting the sleeping porch and cleaning up sloppy lines on the exterior paint. Owen and my Dad went up on Tuesday night to finish all the priming, so we are ready to paint!

Upcoming work for BL: They are finishing off the last bit of exterior paint on the upper East side and putting in our ceiling.

Upcoming work for the Fam: This weekend we will need a full crew up there again. Here are the projects that we will need to divide and conquer on:

• Outhouse: we will need someone to knock down and move around the waste in there and tidy up the inside
• Interior Painting: We have ordered all the interior paint that we will need for the weekend. We will need someone to start on the bathrooms early in the day on Saturday. Bathrooms are priority so we can get them functioning for the party on the 15th. Then we can just move from room to room with the sprayer and have someone else using a roller in the hard to reach places.
• Laying Slate: It would be awesome if we had some slate to lay in the bathrooms as well! Deb - do you think this is possible?
• Sleeping Porch Painting: We need a couple of people finishing up the sleeping porch painting.
• Exterior Trim: Scrubby is excellent at cleaning up the lines on the outside. We still have some work to do there. Thanks Scrub!
