7th Week Update

The Crew: We were all very pleasantly surprised to arrive at the cabin this last weekend to find a cabin transformed! The exterior materials were all up and ready for paint (including the board and batton around those beautiful windows). The interior was completely dry walled in! Matt said he could see a "light at the end of the tunnel and it wasn't a train." They also began to make progress on the deck railing and benches.

The Fam: We had another great crew up there this weekend of both family and friends...even though the deer flies, mosquitoes and hot sun were out in force. Good music and good company kept the crew in good spirits. We were able to complete 99.9% of the exterior paint. There was a small section of the East side that none of our ladders would reach. We'll have to get Bob and the crew to help us on that one.
